Rating: 3 - Nice Idea but...
I bought this item because my breastfed daughter sleeps with me. I was concerned that, after nursing, she would roll into me, be too close, and maybe not get enough air. The positioner did its job well, it kept my daughter in one spot...BUT, she hated it! For some babies, this idea may work, but my daughter is a wiggle worm and a restless sleeper. After getting her to sleep, sometimes this positioner would wake her up when she tried to move!
For other co-sleeping moms...don't worry, there aren't any documented US cases of any baby being suffocated in the family bed under normal circumstances!

This was an okay gift. My baby always peed on it though. And since I always had him wrapped so snug in his blanket (you know how the hospital does it) he was already snug as a bug!
Rating: 5 - A good deal for the money
Our daugher likes the feeling of closeness that comes with being sandwiched between the two wedges. However when she was 9 weeks old she started to scoot all over her crib and right out of the positioner! She then learned how to roll right over and on to her face! So my advice is that it's a GREAT product until your little angel decides otherwise. Definitely worth the money though.
